This 4-day safari from Mombasa combines three of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations—Tsavo West, Amboseli and Taita Hills (Saltlick). Experience diverse landscapes, from volcanic lava flows and crystal-clear springs to the vast plains beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, large elephant herds, big cats, rare black rhinos, and an abundance of plains game. Accommodation includes some of Kenya’s most scenic lodges such as Kilaguni Serena, Amboseli Serena and the elevated Saltlick Lodge.

Full Safari

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo West
Depart Mombasa via the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway to Tsavo West National Park. Enter through Tsavo River Gate and enjoy a game drive along the palm-lined Tsavo River, home to hippos and crocodiles.
Lunch at Ngulia Safari Lodge. In the afternoon, visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary in search of the endangered black rhino.
Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge, Rhino Valley Lodge or similar.

Day 2: Tsavo West – Amboseli
After breakfast, visit Mzima Springs, where millions of litres of spring water flow daily from underground lava, forming clear pools inhabited by hippos and crocodiles.
Proceed via the Shetani Lava Flows and drive to Amboseli National Park for lunch at Oltukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive across Amboseli’s open plains with Mount Kilimanjaro as your dramatic backdrop. Look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, rhinos and abundant plains wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli – Taita Hills (Saltlick)
After breakfast, depart Amboseli with a game drive en route and proceed to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive for lunch and leisure at Sarova Saltlick Game Lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the sanctuary, famous for its large prides of lions and frequent sightings of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, baboons and warthogs.
Dinner and overnight at Sarova Saltlick Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Taita Hills (Saltlick) – Mombasa
Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a final game drive as you exit the sanctuary. Continue to Lion Hill Camp or Voi town for lunch.
Afterward, drive back to Mombasa, arriving at your coastal hotel in the afternoon.
