5-Day Safari Tour: Amboseli, Tsavo West & Tsavo East National Parks

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Safari
Start your safari adventure with a hotel or airport pick-up in Nairobi at 8:00 am. Travel south towards Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Along the way, enjoy the scenic landscapes and prepare for your first game drive en route to your lodge. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species. In the early evening, the clouds often clear to reveal the stunning snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge, Satao Elerai Camp, or Oltukai Lodge, with lunch and dinner included.

Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli National Park Safari
Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness elephants grazing in the vast plains with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, observe lion prides resting under acacia trees, and spot rare and colorful bird species throughout the park. This full-day safari allows you to immerse yourself in Amboseli’s diverse wildlife and unique landscapes. Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West National Park Safari
After an early morning game drive in Amboseli, enjoy breakfast at your lodge before departing for Tsavo West National Park. En route, explore the park’s stunning volcanic formations, including the Shetani Lava Flow. Visit Mzima Springs, where you can observe hippos, fish, and crocodiles through an underwater hide—a truly unique wildlife experience. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch, followed by a relaxing afternoon. At 3:00 pm, embark on a visit to the Tsavo West Rhino Sanctuary, where you can spot rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species against the backdrop of scenic mountains. Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park Safari
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West before enjoying breakfast at your lodge. Depart for Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest wildlife reserve, with game drives along the way. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch at your lodge, then embark on an afternoon game drive at 4:00 pm. Tsavo East offers incredible opportunities to see red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffalos, waterbucks, impalas, and a diverse array of birdlife. Day 5: Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at 8:30 am. After breakfast, continue with your final safari drives through Tsavo East, taking in the park’s vast landscapes and abundant wildlife. Check out of the park and proceed to Mombasa, enjoying lunch en route. Arrive at your hotel in the early evening, marking the end of an unforgettable 5-day safari adventure.
