3-Day Tsavo East and Saltlick Safari: Ultimate Wildlife Adventure from Mombasa

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park
Early in the morning, depart Mombasa and drive to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest national park. Begin your adventure with a morning game drive, where you may spot red-dusted elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, impalas, and numerous bird species. After the morning game drive, check in at your lodge or camp for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive to explore more of the park’s wildlife and scenic landscapes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Voi Safari Lodge or Manyatta Camp.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Saltlick Game Sanctuary
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive while exiting Tsavo East National Park, then drive to Saltlick Game Sanctuary, a private conservancy known for its abundant resident wildlife. Upon arrival, take a game drive before checking in at the lodge for lunch and relaxation. At 4 pm, embark on an evening game drive within Saltlick, observing the sanctuary’s rich wildlife until approximately 6 pm. Return to Sarova Saltlick Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Saltlick – Mombasa
Following an early breakfast, take a final game drive in Saltlick while checking out of the sanctuary, capturing the last moments of wildlife encounters. After the morning safari, drive to Voi town for lunch before continuing back to Mombasa. Arrival at your hotel in the evening marks the end of this remarkable safari experience.
