4 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli Safari

Day 1 – Diani Beach to Tsavo East National Park
Your safari begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach, followed by a scenic drive through the Mombasa–Nairobi highway toward Tsavo East National Park. After entering the park through the Bachuma Gate, you begin your first game drive across the vast plains, famous for the iconic red elephants of Tsavo, as well as lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and plenty of plains game. You enjoy a midday game drive around the Aruba Dam, a prime location for wildlife watching throughout the day. Day 2 – Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, you depart Tsavo East with a game drive en route and cross over into Tsavo West National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes and volcanic formations. Your exploration includes a visit to the clear, spring-fed pools of Mzima Springs, home to hippos and crocodiles that can be viewed from an underwater observation chamber. You’ll also discover the remarkable Shetani Lava Flow, a massive black lava field created by ancient volcanic activity. An evening game drive offers increased chances of spotting leopards along with a variety of wildlife living in the park’s dense bushlands. Day 3 – Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, your journey continues toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most picturesque wildlife destinations, framed by the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you embark on an afternoon game drive across Amboseli’s open plains and wetlands, renowned for massive elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, flamingos, and over 400 bird species. The combination of wildlife and the breathtaking backdrop of Kilimanjaro makes Amboseli a favorite for photographers. Day 4 – Amboseli National Park to Diani Beach
Your final safari morning begins with a sunrise game drive—perfect for viewing Mount Kilimanjaro before cloud cover develops and for spotting predators returning from their nighttime hunts. After breakfast, you exit the park and begin your journey back toward the coast. You drive through the scenic landscapes of southern Kenya and arrive back at Diani Beach in the late afternoon or early evening, bringing your incredible 4-day Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli safari to a memorable close.
